Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He takes great joy in being the best Laborer in town.

History: Chay hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her childhood dream was to be a Guard, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.
