History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Ralf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cloud embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
