History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Cairn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cairn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He takes great joy in being the best Shepherd in town.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahvain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to end her boredom
