History: Braak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She takes great joy in being the best Tanner in town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
