Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she has a large violet mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe. Her long red hair reaches down to her waist. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Verna hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Verna was born the youngest of three triplets. When Verna reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bookbinder, and she later adopted a second daughter.
