History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shanairla grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Shanairla has worked very hard to control her curse. During her travels, Shanairla and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shanairla discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
