Personality: Silaqui is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Silaqui alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, tan shirt, and yellow tie. He is physically well-built. His hair is short and chestnut. His ears are large.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Gerard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, marred by beers. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want him driven away
