History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Carpenter, but she got bored and became a Locksmith. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and balancing her hectic life and new locksmith responsibilities is difficult

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
