Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pyntle embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Pyntle was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her childhood dream was to be a Glassblower, but she was a colossal failure. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Bookbinder mother left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and regain custody of her son

Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She carries with her a set of crossbows on her belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. Her white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. She has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mason. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She worked as a nervous Mason and found it very stressful. She now owns her own business.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
