History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Sumnes and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Courier, and he later adopted a second daughter.
