History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bathin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Shoemaker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Barbena was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Masseuse. After a long history of fighting, Barbena and her spouse have recently divorced.
