History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
