History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Smoking abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
