Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Paelias wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: This slender man stands about 3'7". He wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a glaive, but if one is not available he will default to his trident. His hair is silver and curly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Wobbles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Tomi was born with his mother's beautiful face. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and an old rival family wants her found
