History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Andraste's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and a rival would like him out of the picture
