Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a Scribe, his father struggled to pay the bills. When Roger reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born into a rich family. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sage for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult.
