History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Merihim is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Merihim was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Interpreter. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to be a farmer again
