History: Sariel was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Elysande decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with.
