History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Pûgrish alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
