History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miller who has hired him part-time. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: Manfred is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Manfred was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Manfred's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
