History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt, and is pretty ugly. Her blue crest is lengthy. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burana grew up listening to her father's many stories. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Burana has worked very hard to control her curse. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Felosial was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Felosial's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
