History: Drenna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Oppleby was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
