Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a Tanner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Leaf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Carpenter, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is greedy
