History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Naeris was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Osah liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Eran has worked very hard to control her curse. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and wants her loneliness to end
