Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and to pay off his debts

Description: He is a mite stocky and is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Navigator business.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to clean up the streets

Description: This man has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on his right hand. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Oren enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oren. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a pastel armored body suit, with a simple grey line shooting up and back down. She keeps her long yellow fur kept up in a rat tail. Her half smiles and copper eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 78. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her first spouse was a Mayor, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
