When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Aline was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Marbas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
