History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Sumnes hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. The war was a terrible time for her, and Sumnes does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
