History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Paymon was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Shamash reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn mother passed away.
