To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Ovina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
