History: Trag hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Vani was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Carpenter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance.
