History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.

History: Althaea was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. She became a Bellfounder soon after.
