History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears tattered old clothes. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are a pleasant red.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bathin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Bathin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bathin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Arumawann has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover her moderate length blonde hair. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ovak is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she seems to be bored by most things
