Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Description: An older man who prefers to wear tan clothing when he does not wear armor, he is not a threatening figure. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his broad tan hat.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he is greedy

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She works hard and plays hard.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Quick was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Quick's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she would like to get married and retire

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and wants to open a new tavern
