History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her youth she was a Herbalist, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Eggren is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Eggren hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Oriax was born the youngest of three triplets. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. After a long history of fighting, Oriax and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
