Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. A true patriot, Damaia would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born into a rich family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and regain custody of her daughter

History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Tod learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He became a Merchant soon after.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and seeks redemption

History: Cloud was born the youngest of three triplets. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
