History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is a Shepherd first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shanairla studied abroad. She worked as a nervous Shepherd and found it very stressful. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Shepherd and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Frederick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and a deep hatred of dire rats
