She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. History: Born in the north to a Carpenter, Ernest learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ownka was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A true patriot, Valida would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
