Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Roland was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roland decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Oppleby was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Glassblower. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Barber. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She struck the Barber job and began her own company from there.
