Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Darrow embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a great chef.

History: Born in the west to a Baker, Pennie learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She tends to her Baker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a Barber soon after.
