Personality: He is fixated on the number 40. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The war was a terrible time for her, and Tree does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
