Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of a Stylist, who enjoyed hunting, Claira was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away
