History: Born in the west to a Bather, Fargrim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. After a long history of fighting, Mardred and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has never given up on her painting dream.

History: Ahlyssa was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by her family.
