History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Paelias was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Now she works as a poetry tutor during her time off.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Fragrant took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Map Maker, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
