History: Quarion was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform After a long history of fighting, Quarion and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
