History: Gubu was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Numba was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has worked as a Laborer like her mother before her.
