His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Bilga is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Bilga is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Bilga was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 12. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Farmer. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she feels threatened by others

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jaxi grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jaxi. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and seeks redemption
