History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
