Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Volen was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born into a rich family. She worked as a nervous Bricklayer and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to be a dilettante again
