History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
