History: Ulfgar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Susannah was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
